A downloadable game for Windows

This is Man's Reclamation--a game demo set in a post-apocalyptic future where you play as Magnus Corvus.  As Magnus Corvus, you help them scale a ruined skyscraper seen as the cause of humanity's demise, but as you ascend, the source of the corruption gets stronger and new obstacles pop up in the way to stop you. With just a frying pan in hand, Magnus Corvus may be ill-equipped to save the world, but they are the world's only chance.

Post Mortem:
Don't let your ambitions take over--work on your game iteratively. Please also pay attention to your mental health as well. The biggest concern when creating our game is maintaining communication; often times, group members didn't communicate for multiple days or did not do the required tasks--multiple attempts were made to rectify this, including the creation of a Discord, Trello, design document, etc, though at the end of the day, the reliability of communication falls to the people.

When things went right, we crafted strong artwork for the game and squashed many bugs.

When things went wrong, much of the programming fell back to the lead programmer to fix, and since no strong effort was done to get everyone to have the Game Maker 2 editable file, much of the time, the game designer would have to carry the team.

As a result, many ideas were shafted, and the game's genre shifted from that of action to that of platforming and puzzles.
